Welcome to the first summit for the MOSAIC project including representatives from Cyprus, Israel, Jordan and Morocco.

Summit Content

The summit meetings will provide a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action planning with the aim to create tangible results and long-term partnerships.

Summit activities will include:

  • Opening Sessions

    Keynote lectures and panels on higher education challenges in the region.

  • Thematic Workshops

    Analysis of education systems, development of intercultural skills, and integration of technology in teaching.

  • Working Groups

    Development of plans for joint research projects, curricula development, and exchange programs.

  • Student Sessions

    Presentation of students' vision for regional cooperation.

  • Technology Demonstrations

    Showcasing innovations in educational technologies.

  • Cultural Activities

    Events showcasing the cultural diversity of participants.

  • Policy Discussions

    Addressing bureaucratic barriers to cooperation.

  • Program Development Sessions

    Planning joint courses and programs.

  • Closing Sessions

    Presentation of outcomes, future planning, and commitments to cooperation.

Expected Outcomes

  • Regional Network of Education Leaders and Innovators

    Creation of a digital platform for knowledge sharing and ongoing collaboration among educators from the region.

  • Concrete Proposals for Joint Projects

    Development of 5-10 detailed plans for academic collaborations between participating institutions.

  • Joint Curricula Programs

    Design at least three joint academic courses to be delivered concurrently at various institutions later on.

  • Ripple Effect Model

    Creation of an innovative model for disseminating knowledge and innovation starting from policymakers spreading to academic staff, students, and school pupils. The model will include developing educational content and training focused on gradual knowledge dissemination creating broad long-term impact within the education system.

  • Policy Paper on Regional Educational Cooperation

    Publication of a comprehensive policy document presenting recommendations for promoting academic cooperation in the region.

  • Initiative to Examine Geopolitical Impacts on Curricula

    Conducting preliminary discussions and formulating initial ideas for a joint research proposal on representing historical events in participating countries' textbooks.

  • Establishment of a Joint Team to Create an Online Learning Material Repository

    Teaching methodologies and pedagogical tools promoting intercultural understanding.

  • Student & Faculty Exchange Program Framework Development

    Creating a framework for a long-term academic exchange program between participating institutions.

  • Webinar Series Production Plan

    Developing a plan for a series of online lectures by participants on topics related to education culture geopolitics open to the public audience.

  • Follow-up Program Proposal Development

    Creating a detailed proposal for continued collaboration including potential funding sources long-term goals.
